All India Forum for English Students Scholars and Trainers (AIFEST)

1. Any graduate or postgraduate or B. Ed/
M. Ed student of English Language, Literature or Linguistics enrolled in any recognised Indian University. Those who have completed the course or are awaiting results can also register.
2. Any MPHIL or PHD research scholar enrolled in any recognised Indian University.
3. Any Ad Hoc, Contract or Guest Faculty teaching English language or literature in any part of India.

Who cannot Register:

1. If your subject is not English, your registration will be cancelled.
2. Teachers working as permanent faculty in Government or Aided Institutions are requested not to apply.

25th Anniversary Celebrations: Free Membership Drive

All India Forum for English Students, Scholars and Trainers (AIFEST) is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2019. Born on 19th June 1994, on the birthday of Mr Salman Rushdie, AIFEST has successfully promoted the cause of English Research and Studies for the past 24 years. As part of the 25th Anniversary celebrations, AIFEST is opening its portals to students, research scholars and trainers of English all over the country. Lifetime membership is being provided free of cost to everyone who registers on or before 31 July 2019.

Why are permanent faculty not offered memberships?

Why are permanent faculty not offered memberships?

Permanent faculty are requested not to register based on the understanding that they have the financial and academic wherewithal to afford these services elsewhere too. However, this doesn't mean the doors are closed forever. In fact, some of our esteemed volunteers are or were permanent faculty. Time to time, this policy undergoes revision.

How to be an active member of AIFEST?

The best way to be an active member of AIFEST is to constantly keep in touch with us. You can email us your suggestions and feedback concerning English education in India, update us about the services you can volunteer and share with us via email any relevant information (concerning conferences, seminars, academic initiatives, your achievements, publications, vacancy notifications and creative enterprises). We may not be able to respond to every email, but we will definitely be doing our best to serve you.
