We have left no stone unturned to ensure free, fair and just evaluation and competition. We have also made sure that unbiased and capable judges evaluated the poems. All the submissions were checked for plagiarism using both Turnitin and Urkund softwares. We are saddened to inform you that there were a few instances of plagiarism in the competition. 4 poems from Category 1, 6 from Category 2 and 1 from Category 3 had to be rejected on account of plagiarism. Let's be united in this fight to clean the academic system of the menace of plagiarism.
Due to the huge volume of submissions we received, we had to omit many submissions based on the overall grade and score. We share your disappointment. We understand that despite our best attempts, there could be subjectivity in evaluation and judgment. Pure objectivity, especially in evaluating poetry, is almost impossible. Those who have found out that their submissions haven't been selected for publication please remember that even TS Eliot and William Wordsworth had faced rejection from reputed publishers.
If there is any typing error or discrepancy in the details, please bring it to our notice via email. Thanks
