Why are permanent faculty not offered memberships?

Permanent faculty are requested not to register based on the understanding that they have the financial and academic wherewithal to afford these services elsewhere too. However, this doesn't mean the doors are closed forever. In fact, some of our esteemed volunteers are or were permanent faculty. Time to time, this policy undergoes revision.
